These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the pinGoal mobile app and related services ("pinGoal" or the "App"), operated by an individual developer ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading or using pinGoal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use pinGoal. If you are under 18, you may use pinGoal only with the permission and involvement of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
You may use pinGoal anonymously, or sign in with Google or Apple. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
You retain ownership of the goals, boards, future letters, and other content you create in pinGoal ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the App to you (for example, to sync it across your devices and deliver your future letters). We do not claim ownership of Your Content and do not use it for advertising.
You agree not to:
The App itself, including its design, software, branding, and content we provide, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
pinGoal relies on third-party services (such as Apple, Google, and our infrastructure providers) and may let you share content to other apps. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for them.
With your permission, pinGoal may send you push notifications and emails related to your goals and future letters. You can manage notifications in the App or your device settings.
You may stop using pinGoal at any time. If you have signed in, you can delete your account and associated data from within the App's Settings; if you use pinGoal without signing in, email support@pingoal.app to request deletion. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.
pinGoal is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, and we are not responsible for your failure to achieve any goal you track in the App.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of pinGoal. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim or USD $50.
These Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and Apple is not responsible for pinGoal or its content. Your use of pinGoal must comply with the Apple Media Services Terms and the Usage Rules in Apple's App Store terms. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the App and for addressing any claims relating to it (including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, and intellectual property claims), and for any maintenance or support for the App. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of pinGoal after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
